WILL WEXLEY REVAMPS CAUSE TOUR BUS

Thursday, March 12, 2009 — Native Millsberry do-gooder, Will Wexley, has brought a bunch of new pals on board his Cause Tour Bus.
He's cruising around Millsberry with a little more cause power.
When asked about the change, Wexley replied, "I really wanted to get the word out about another important issue, and one that's dear to me: pet safety."
Since the success of Walk for Malawi, Wexley has felt even more inspired to continue his cause-related work.
"I feel very strongly about what I do," he said, "and I hope to draw attention to issues of pet safety in the same way as I have to Walk for Malawi."
"I know a lot of people view their pet as a member of the family. Hopefully, with this new information, they'll be able to keep them safe and happy, too."
"After all, your pets are special, so you should treat them that way. And there are many ways to safeguard our furry friends—even when we're not around—so excellent care-taking is something any pet owner can do."
To show how excited he is about pet safety, Wexley has filled his bus with a whole bunch of cats and dogs and other assorted friends from the animal kingdom.
"I've always been a dog person. Dogs are my favorite. To me, there's nothing better than playing catch in the park with my best canine pal, on a warm sunny day.
"Of course, I still like cats, too. They make really great pets. They're not quite as good at catch, but just being around a feline friend puts me at ease."
"Reptiles also make wonderful pets, though they definitely require more care and attention. Still—I had a pet chameleon for a while. I really enjoyed watching him change colors. I just had to be sure not to wear any tie-dyed shirts around him," laughed Wexley.
One other thing's for sure: Thanks to Will Wexley, there'll be plenty of happy pets out there—and plenty of pet owners well-educated in good pet care!
